Finally Recovered!!!!

Well I have finally recovered from our FALL CROP WITH 60 LADIES. What an amazing time we had!!! The food was oooooooooooh so good, the company was great and laughs...well you will just have to come join us for the winter crop to see for yourself how much fun 60 ladies can have together.

And yes, there was more cartwheels...what did you think girls???? I am still able to do cartwheels. I know, I can't believe it.

I have to thank everyone who helped out in any way last weekend. You made it sooooo much easier for us. Thanks to everyone who helped set up the hall, thanks to ANITA DOSKAS for the amazing food, thanks to BRENDA KERNIGHAN for doing a great job with the store and thanks to JULIA CLEGHORNE for making awesome aprons for the store. Here is my favorite...obviously mine is a little more special. I also have 12 for classes, so girls you don't have to worry about getting durty anymore with all the cool products we use.



During the crop, I also gave a workshop on the Crafter's Workshop Templates. Wow girls, you did an amazing job playing with these templates. Here is just a few things you can do with them. Everything on this page was done with those templates. We still have a few on special so come in and check them out.



We decided to host a sketch challenge at the crop. Thank you KRISTINE DAVIDSON for designing a wonderful sketch. Add your layout using this sketch in the gallery and get a chance to win a prize. Make sure you upload it in the contest folder. You have until next Friday to participate in this challenge. Looking foward to seeing your layouts!!!!

Hello Scrappers,

I had so much fun playing with my paint dabbers last week to get ready for my 1st 1 hour technique class Saturday morning. It wasn't just basic techniques. We created Faux Marble background look on these tags, stamped with the dabber paints and painted a few different embellishments. We had lots of fun. I hope you will be able to join us for our next technique class this Saturday where we will play with Inks and Stamps...again not your typical techniques. Here is what we created last Saturday.




I used the Faux Marble technique on the layout we are doing Thursday night, "5 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT SUMMER". If you haven't registered yet, just send me an e-mail. I still have a few spots left. Here is a SNEAK PEEK of the layout.

We are back from our great vacation in Niagara Falls and African Lion Safari. We had such a fun time...i think I was more excited than my son at times. We saw the falls, lots of animals, went on rides and did a little sight seeing. Lots of fun!!!!

I have been scrapbooking like crazy in the last few weeks. I am getting lots done which is good. I really like a desk topper that I prepared for a class. The kits came from Ninabrook Designs. I just love it...perfect for a gift. Check out the calendar for details.

Some Inspiration...

Hello scrappers,

I have been enjoying the nice weather, but you can already feel fall coming. This week has been much cooler and not as much humidity. We can finally sleep a bit better. Well I have been enjoying this past week...very busy but fun!!! I had my second Technique class last Thursday and I must say I am really enjoying these classes. I am looking foward to starting my 1 hour technique classes saturday mornings. Check out the calendar for details on classes!!!

Friday evening I gave my first basic photography class. WOW!!! It was such a great time and I got nice sunset pictures. Girls I hope you had as much fun as I did!!!

SUMMER IS FINALLY HERE...after 2 months...LOL Aren't you just loving this sunshine. I know I sure am.

Well our technique class last Thursday was amazing!!! I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. It makes me feel great when people learn new techniques. I even learned a few extra technique while getting ready for it. I am always on the lookout for new techniques and new products to play with.
I think I will have to get some SCRAPBOOKING GONE WILD APRONS because this class was certainly messy...lots of products being used in just a little amount of time.

Products being used for this class were, inks, dabber paints, crackle paint, glimmer mist, accents and stamps. Lots of fun!!!! Looking foward to the next one!!!!

BACK FROM VACATION...

Hello scrappers,


I must say this past week has been one of our best vacations yet. We had sooooooooo much fun in Shediac...beach, Splash pad at Centenial Park, Moncton Zoo, a little shopping and more beach. We had really nice weather...had a hard time to sleep because it was sooooooooo warm. We were back home last Friday and had of more fun with our son. We set up his new pool we bought him and he spent a lots of time in it in just 2 days. We also went to the St Andrews Aquarium and had my favorite pizza at the Old Time Pizza restaurant. I am now ready to go back to work now...a little more rested.
